My policies, tips, and rules:
Every single rule here is important as hell, please read.
You can place more than once.
No date is too late to join.
If there are less than 30 entries when the deadline comes around, I will extend the deadline.
You may enter unlimited times.
You may have any amount of characters in one image.
You may have your own characters in the image with mine.
Drawing a full-blown image is not mandatory, do what you want!
Gore, violence, NSFW images and everything else is just fine!
Note me your entries, I will not save it otherwise.
More characters may be added to the list down the road.

'Slice of Life in Winter'.
Draw moments in the =ElephantWendigo's Original Characters lives that take place in wintry settings (fireplaces, cold, icy, snow, Christmas, mountains, warm clothes, leafless trees, etc.). These moments don't have to be 'routine actions' of a character's life but rather moments where =ElephantWendigo's characters are protagonists.

As there is no actual speed paint challenges from Sparkyyy at the moment, I still feel the last challenges really pushed me forward and I want to keep on it. So Angelique, Egbu and RockOnGuy had this idea to have a few images we choose to do for the month.
You can do them in any order and when ever you can get a study done. Same rules apply, 2hr time limit, no tracing, no color picking. The images you chose should be feasible to do within the 2hr time limit.
We focus on Portraits this month.
Anyone can join in and practice, just add a comment or send a note of your work! ^^
As we are doing this to get better it would be nice of the participating artists to also look out for their fellows pictures and give helpful comments. Please be constructive and motivating - but most important - comment!

Antidote to apathyYay, I got a few days off again

sadly this is due to another health breakdown, but I have to say I am confused, I feel great otherwise...and yet my health is deteriorating...makes no sense indeed.
Woke up with the worst headache ever, 3 hours before I should so I am still dizzy, but refuse to go to bed again, the day is great I should at least be awake...
Just realized that in these awful mornings the thing that helps the most is actually listening to ted.com and putting my brain to work instead of complaining about the headache.

Going to get better, or die tryin!So I've hit like a midlife art crisis I think. Because I'm doing a complete 180 on what I use to create for art. For while now I just felt so limited and un inspired to do any kind of new work. I've realized its because I haven't ventured out of my comfort zone. So I'm determined going to get better, or die tryin! This means going back and re studying art all over again! Thankfully I have an amazing support group growing around me which pushes each other to just do better. Watching livestreams at work, keeping up my own livesteam has definitely helped. Because there's something to be said about working on something and then leaning over and asking for real time crits while your in the mood and focused on your work. Which to me is worth its weight in pure gold as an artist.
I'm starting this venture with master studies, speed painting, portraits in human anatomy. well anatomy in general. Focusing on all the things I suck most at! lol
