As a first word I would like you to keep in mind that I do not take the critique star-rating system very seriously, and neither should you. Also, please forgive any English-errors, weird sentences and other mistakes.

I thought the sight of this bookmark is very striking. The deep, saturated but dark, crimson, red is a real eye-catcher. The bright roses are a very nice addition and their sketchy feel kind of completes the detailing.

Too bad I have already seen a lot of these kind of paintings. Pretty lady, deep stare, roses as a decoration... (Italian influence??)

However, this one stands out. I love the pose of the hand and the folds of the fabric. I love the style. And I love the piece as a whole all the same. Your commisioner got a great deal of awesomeness for his money.
